Faculty Development Center announcements
Brittney Goodman, Michelle Malott, Becky Andres, and Alison Wallace, all members of the Faculty Development Committee, attended the AAC&U sponsored “Professional and Organizational Development Institute” in Atlanta Jan. 22-23, in preparation for the launching of our campus Faculty Development Center and associated programs.
“Flipping the Classroom: Who, What, Where, When, Why, and How?” is the first session being offered by the Faculty Development Center Friday, Feb. 1, from 2:30-3:15 p.m. in Hagen 404. Presenters include the “flipped faculty” group who recently attended a workshop together: Sara Anderson, Yolanda Arauza, Nathan Clarke, T.J. Hansen, Sheila Marquardt, Alison Wallace, and Deb White. Attendees will be able to try their hand at some of the readily available technology used to support pre-class meeting instruction.
