Student Academic Conference application is now open
Students: If you have completed outstanding work on research, a class project, or a creative work please consider presenting at the 15th annual Student Academic Conference. After meeting with your mentor, professor, or advisor, go to web.mnstate.edu/acadconf, read the information, and fill out the application.
Three important dates to remember when applying.
1. If you are a student this semester but will not be enrolled next semester, and would like to present at the conference, it is much easier if you apply right away (during fall semester) since the application is linked to currently enrolled students.
2. There is also a state conference with a much earlier deadline (January 31st). If you are interested in having a chance to present at the state conference, we must have your application by Jan. 31, 2013.
3. The final application deadline is Feb. 28, 2013.
Faculty: Please consider, as you read the final papers, reports, projects, and capstones, inviting students who did exemplary work to reprise that work into a poster or oral presentation for the Student Academic Conference.
