Faculty – Complete your end of semester tasks in D2L and Moodle
The end of the semester is almost here. Be sure to complete your end of the semester tasks before break! Please use the links below for assistance in completing these important tasks.
- Release Final Grades to Students – D2L
- Export/Download Gradebook – D2L, Moodle
- Submit Grades to MSUM
- Request a Course Shell for Next Semester
- Backup Your Course – D2L, Moodle
Because of the D2L upgrade scheduled for December 28, 2012, it is especially important for faculty teaching with D2L to complete these tasks this semester to ensure all course content and grades are backed up in the event of upgrade issues. More info on the upgrade can be found in the News section on the D2L homepage.
As a best practice, do not store your backed-up files on your computer’s hard drive (Desktop). Instead, save on the MSUM network – such as your H drive (home directory) or your department’s share drive – or on a portable storage device such as a USB flash drive.
