Speakers address the public on 10th anniversary of 9/11

Four speakers from the United States and Canada will share their assessment of events of Sept. 11th, 2001, at an open forum Friday, Sept. 9 at noon on the MSUM campus mall in front of Livingston Lord Library. The event is free and open to the public. In the event of bad weather, the presentation will move inside to Glasrud Auditorium in Weld Hall.

The presenters are Dr. George MacLean, University of Manitoba (Cause and Effect: A Decade of Counter Terrorism); Dr. Thomas Ambrosio, North Dakota State University (World War IV?  The Expansion of American Military Activity Following 9/11); Steven Long, Department of Homeland Security, (Of Customs and Border Protection: Forward from 9/11); Director Greg Lemke, Minnesota State University Moorhead (Law Enforcement Challenges after 9/11).
