Red Ticket event looking for wine donations
On September 24, 2011, Minnesota State University Moorhead faculty and staff will host the first Red Ticket Event at the Bluestem Center for the Arts to celebrate the culmination of Homecoming 2011. The evening features food, drink, silent and live auction, and live music by The Max Johnk Trio, followed by Post-Traumatic Funk Syndrome. All proceeds from the evening will go toward academic scholarships.
A Simple Way for All to Get Involved
Along with the silent and live auctions, we will be having a Mystery Wine Table. The way the Mystery Wine Table works is to have 100 bottles of donated wine (our goal is 100 bottles but more is welcome). Each bottle will be concealed in a wine box and will be numbered from 1 to 100. Guests can purchase the bottle of their choice by the box number for $25 and the wine concealed inside will be a surprise.
In order for this event to be successful we will need help from our Dragon family to donate a bottle or more of their favorite wine. The minimum value of each bottle is $25 but can exceed to any amount. Inside each wine box will be a tag bearing the name(s) of the donors of the bottle of wine. All donations must accompany a Wine Donor Form which is available for download at www.redticketevent.com. Instructions for drop off can be found on the wine donor form. The deadline for the Mystery Wine table is September 16th, so please return your donor form as soon as possible.
If you would like to be a part of the Mystery Wine Table but are not a wine connoisseur, you can send a check, payable to the MSUM Alumni Foundation, to the attention of Kim Bair and she will purchase wine on your behalf. We ask that you still fill out the Wine Donor Form. If you have questions please contact Kim Bair at extension 2049.
Thank you for your consideration of our request. We truly appreciate your support of MSUM and its students. If you have any questions about the Mystery Wine Table, please contact Kim Bair at 218-477-2049 at the MSUM Alumni Foundation. Or for general Red Ticket Event questions, please contact Gloria Riopelle at 218-477-5824.
