Ashish Gupta appointed president-elect for MWAIS
Ashish Gupta, School of Business, has been selected president-elect for the Midwest Association for Information (MWAIS). His term starts now and involves a three-year commitment with MWAIS. MWAIS serves Association for Information Systems (AIS) members across the Midwest United States from Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin. MWAIS serves the needs of Information Technology thought leaders in the U.S. Heartland.
Gupta recently co-chaired and organized the MWAIS 2010 conference hosted by MSUM’s School of Business. It was co-sponsored by Microsoft and was in collaboration with several other universities, including University of Minnesota, Michigan State University and more. He also served as decretary of MWAIS for the past academic year.
