Second parking open forum May 9

The MSUM Parking Committee is holding a campus-wide Open Forum Monday, May 9 at the Public Safety Building from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to discuss parking and permit   changes for the 2011-2012 school year.

The 3 proposed changes are as follows:

1. Renaming the general (overflow) parking lots and the student lots to “General Parking”. Currently there are “Student” and “General” parking lots. Changing the name would simplify parking.
2. Permit and Ticket prices remain the same as the 2010-2011 year.
3. WR and WL lots classified as Faculty/Staff Parking instead of the current reserve status.
