Free HIV testing at Hendrix Health Center
In conjunction with World AIDS Day (December 1), the MSUM Wellness Educators and Hendrix Health Center are offering FREE HIV TESTING on the following days:
Wednesday, December 1 – Friday, December 3
9:00AM-12:00PM & 1:00PM-3:00PM
&
Monday, December 6 – Tuesday, December 7
9:00AM-12:00PM & 1:00PM-3:00PM
This year’s FREE HIV TESTING event has been much improved than previous years. It will be held at MSUM’s own and trusted Hendrix Health Center with oral swabs being conducted by our own lab technicians. There will be absolutely NO blood draws; ALL tests will be conducted via an oral swab. There will be 100 free tests available. If we run out, we will may hold another testing date in the spring.
TO GET TESTED:
1. Visit H.H.C. during the above dates/times.
2. Approach the receptionist counter like you would for any appointment.
3. Tell receptionist that you are there to receive a free test.
4. Fill out the discreet, and confidential, form and return it to the receptionist.
5. You will be called from the waiting room to the H.H.C. lab.
6. Oral swab will be conducted by H.H.C. lab technician.
7. Receive a FREE CONDOM CARRIER.
8. You will be notified, ONLY if you test positive, by December 16, 2010. No call = negative test results.
9. All forms and test results will be shredded upon completion of the testing process.
