Gov. Pawlenty reappoints Humphers-Ginther to Minnesota Board on Aging

Sue Humphers-Ginther, Professor of Sociology and Coordinator of the Gerontology major, was reappointed by Governor Pawlenty to a second four-year term on the Minnesota  Board on Aging. First established in 1956, the MBA is a pioneer in the field of aging policy, information, and assistance. The MBA administers approximately $30 million annually in Older Americans Act funds and works closely with statewide Area Agencies on Aging to provide services that seniors need. The Board’s 25 members are appointed by the governor.
