Get ready for the WALKtober challenge
Hey Dragons! Don’t let fall get you down. Get your pedometer and hit da pavement!
“Walk it out” with the WALKtober challenge sponsored by the Hendrix Health Center Wellness Educators during the month of October. Walking 10,000 steps a day will burn approximately an extra 2,700 calories per week. Achieving good health and losing weight are some of the benefits of walking.
- All students, faculty and staff are eligible to participate.
- INDIVIDUALS who walk 10,000+ steps 4x each week will be entered in a weekly prize drawing. The individuals who met the requirements for all of the weeks will be entered in a grand prize drawing.

- Sign up at the Hendrix Health Center the during the week of September 27th-October 1st and receive your FREE pedometer.
