Longtime administrator leaves MSUM legacy
A longtime Minnesota State University Moorhead administrator retires this month, leaving behind a legacy of $100 million worth of campus improvements.
David Crockett, who most recently has been dean of business and industry, retires Tuesday after 17 years at MSUM.
Crockett, 69, spent 13 years as vice president for administrative affairs, leading a renaissance of campus improvements, said campus spokesman Doug Hamilton.
“Both he and (former President) Roland Barden were sort of a dynamic duo when they were working together on campus improvements,” Hamilton said.
