Counseling Center is open this summer

Did you know that the Counseling Center will be open during summer sessions? Lora Bertelsen, Ph.D., licensed psychologist and Sarah Szerlong, UND doctoral level intern, will be available during all summer sessions. We will offer individual and group counseling opportunities for students who are enrolled for summer classes and students enrolled for both Spring and Fall 2010. CSA spring social is May 7

The Council on Staff Affairs Spring Social will be Friday, May 7 from 9-11 a.m. in CMU 101. We will raffle a Marlowe Kullish rocking horse and a 2010-2011 general parking permit. The CSA spring apparel sale will be from Monday, May 3 through Friday, May 14. Samples will be available in the Records Office beginning May 3. Apparel will be delivered before Memorial Day Weekend. Babies and toys topic of May 11 presentation

The Human Development and Family Science department at NDSU is giving a presentation on “How to Get the Most out of Baby Toys” as part of their “Bringing Science to You” series. The presentation is scheduled for Tuesday, May 11 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Meadow Lark Room of the NDSU Memorial Union.

School of Business hosts premier research conference, healthcare workshop

MSU Moorhead will host the fifth annual conference of Midwest Association for Information Systems (MWAIS) May 21-22, and will also host the Healthcare Service Management and Modeling workshop on May 21. These are premiere research events that will bring in professionals from around the country. The MWAIS conference is set to provide an excellent platform and forum for researchers, visionaries, practitioners, and doctoral students to share their ideas, present their research and chart the future course of technology in emerging domains of Business. The Healthcare Service Management and Modeling workshop will feature invited speakers, panels, and research presentations from academics and various sectors representing the healthcare industry.
