Faculty Development book talk Jan. 21

MSUM art exhibit features Garrett Hansen

A Minnesota State University Moorhead art exhibit featuring the works of Garrett Hansen In China will show through Feb. 10 in the Roland Dille Center for the Arts gallery. An artist’s reception will be held Thursday, Jan. 28 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the gallery foyer. He will present a lecture from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Center for Business room 101. MSUM Planetarium showing “Bear Tales” through March 8

The Minnesota State University Moorhead Planetarium will show “Bear Tales” Sundays at 2 p.m. and Mondays at 7 p.m. Jan. 17 through March 8. This year, astronomers are celebrating the anniversary of that event by inviting everyone to look through a telescope. “Bear Tales” follows two young astronomers at a star party as they learn how telescopes work, the history of telescopes, and the major discoveries made by these instruments.
