Dragon Diva Luncheon Oct. 5

All Dragon women and friends are invited to the Dragon Diva luncheon Monday, October 5 at noon in the CMU 100.

Guest speaker is Lindsay Hartmann, a former captain and starter for the Dragon women’s basketball team. She led the Dragons to their first conference title in 20 years, ranked in the top 25 in the nation for 3 pt. %, and was a 4-time Academic All-Conference. A 2005 mass communications graduate, Lindsay is the global marketing manager for St. Jude Medical in St. Paul, where she is responsible for marketing the most widely implanted heart valve in history. She manages the product line, which grosses over $200 million, and manages the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities. Lindsay volunteers with Special Olympics, Minnesota Foodshare, and is an e-mentor for ESL students at Eden Prairie High School.

Guest coach is Tammy Blake-Kath, MSUM Women’s Volleyball. Tammy enters her 15th season as head coach at MSU Moorhead. She became the first and lone MSUM coach to reach the 250 win plateau last fall. This year Tammy and her staff have the volleyball team off to a terrific start with a 7-2 record.

Lunch will include tossed salad mix w/julienned chicken breast, cheese, egg, cucumber, green pepper, croutons, fresh fruit and roll.

Cost is $20 with all proceeds benefiting Dragon Women’s Athletics.
