TCU World Studies Seminar Focuses on India and China

Tri-College University is offering an eight-week seminar course on “India and China on the Global Stage” (PSC 380) on Thursdays from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Sept. 3 through Oct. 22 at Concordia College, Old Main room 232.

The two-credit course is designed to satisfy elective credits for students pursuing any major, but may be of particular interest to students studying East Asian studies, political science, economics, and multicultural or global studies. Students register for this class on their home campus.

Together, China and India account for over one-third of the world’s population, and they are increasingly important in world affairs. Both face daunting political, economic and social challenges. This course explores how the people of these two countries have attempted to meet these challenges and will feature a variety of guest speakers.

Anyone who does not wish to take the course for credit is welcome to attend a single session or the entire lecture series at no charge. It’s open to the public.
