April 23 Statewide Tornado Drill Canceled
The annual statewide tornado drill planned for Thursday, April 23, 2009 at 1:45 p.m. has been canceled for all of Clay County. On Tuesday the Grand Forks National Weather Service elected not to participate due to continued flooding in many counties located in northwestern Minnesota. Due to this cancellation, MSUM’s severe weather siren and emergency notification system e2campus will not be activated on Thursday, April 23 as previously announced.
