MSU Moorhead will offer two sessions in March on social networking to generate business. Topics include social marketing applications and etiquette, Facebook, Twitter, marketing strategies and driving traffic to web sites and blogs, among others. “Catch the Social Networking Wave: Tips and Terminology” will be from 12:30-4:30 p.m. Thursday, March 4 in the Science Lab 118. This session is for those new to social networking and want to learn how to leverage social networking sites to generate business. Cost for this session is $69. African Drum & Dance Workshops Feb. 27-28

An African Drum and Dance Workshop, with guest artists Fode Bangoura, master Guinean drummer/dancer and Whitney McClusky, Duniya Drum and Dance Studio, and featuring the Minnesota State University Moorhead Percussion Studio, will be held Saturday, Feb. 27 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 28 from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Roland Dille Center for the Arts. TCU Service-Learning Workshop Oct. 8

MSUM, Concordia, and NDSU faculty are invited to the Tri-College Service-Learning Workshop, which will be held at MSUM on Thursday October 8. The event will be held from 1:30 – 4:45 PM in the CMU Ballroom. Participants will hear about student experiences with Service-Learning, and discuss formulating learning outcomes and assessment tools for S-L.
