Qi-Ssage Course Offered to Start Go Pink Month

The Athletics Department along with Dragons Fit ‘N Fire will be sponsoring Qi-Ssage course on Monday, Feb. 1 from 8:30-10 a.m. in CMU 205.

Qi-Ssage Course Description: There are twelve major energy channels in your body and hundreds of energy points all over your body. Learn how these points affect the balance and flow of your body’s energy to relieve stress, release tension, relax, energize, enhance and balance your flow of energy.

Dragons Dance Team To Compete at Nationals

MOORHEAD, Minn. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead Dragons dance team will travel to Orlando, Fla., this weekend to compete in the UDA College Dance Team National Championships.

The team qualified for the National Championships in October as they were selected as one of the top-30 teams across the nation at the DII, DIII or NAIA level. The team also competed recently at a regional competition held at the Mall of America on Jan. 10.

Dragons Assist in 2010 Fitness Resolutions

MOORHEAD, Minn. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead Dragons have banded together to provide the campus and regional community the opportunity to improve everyday wellness and fitness with the Fit-N-Fire Dragon Training Group.

Based on the concept of creating a training atmosphere to provide motivation and education for leading a fit life, Dragons Athletics, the MSUM Wellness Center, and Dragons for Wellness have combined efforts to make a difference in our community.

WALKtober Same Idea NEW Rules

Get your WALK ON with the WALKtober challenge sponsored by the Hendrix Health Center Wellness Educators during the month of October. Walking 10,000 steps a day will burn approximately an extra 2,700 calories per week. Walking helps achieve good health and weight loss. Click link to read more.
