An Acoustical Afternoon…Tammaro reading and book signing

On Sunday, December 13, at 2:00 p.m. Zandbroz Variety in Fargo will host Thom Tammaro, English Department and MFA program, to read from his new collection of poems, 31 Mornings in December, a series of Zen-like meditations written each day during the month of December. Joining Tammaro will be guitarist and vocalist Terry Ruud and vocalist Crystal Jensen for an afternoon of acoustical music and songs about the wintry month of December. Click headline to read more.

Eurospring Exhibit opens Tuesday

EUROSPRING 2009: SCENES ALONG THE JOURNEY, a photo exhibit, will open on Tuesday, September 15, in Livingston Lord Library’s circulation lobby. The photographs were taken by students who participated in MSUM’s Eurospring study abroad program, March 17-May 12. 2009. Tammaro Wins McKnight Fellowship

Thom Tammaro, English, has been awarded a $5,000 McKnight Fellowship by the Lake Region Arts Council. The award’s purpose is to recognize, reward, and encourage outstanding artists in the region who have demonstrated prominent artistic achievement.
