Kim Mollberg, School of Business, had an article “Making a “backdoor” Roth IRA contribution” published in the April 2013 edition of Journal of Accountancy. Published continuously since 1905, the Journal of Accountancy (with 386,000 paid subscriptions) is the flagship publication of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
The MSUM School of Business Beta Gamma Sigma Chapter was recognized by its national organization as a Premier Chapter for 2010-2011. Minnesota State University Moorhead and the Small Business Development Center, along with US Bank, will host a Women’s Business Seminar on Saturday, Sept. 19 from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the university’s Comstock Memorial Union Ballroom. Keynote speaker will be Jill Blashack Strahan, founder and CEO of Tastefully Simple. In 1995 she started the company in a 1,200-square-foot shed with no running water, using a pool table as a packing station.
