Dr. Mary Dosch and Dr. Lisa Stewart, faculty in the graduate program in School Psychology, attended the Americorps Reading and Math Corps Institute in August. Dr. Stewart also led training with MN PreK Reading Corps members.
Ten graduate students in School Psychology attended and volunteered at the North Dakota statewide MultiTiered Systems of Support (MTSS) conference. The 2017 MTSS conference theme was “Building Effective Systems for Student Success.” Over 300 educators from across the region attended the 3 day conference. Dr. Lisa Stewart, School Psychology faculty, also was on the conference planning committee.
Dr. Lisa Stewart, Director of the School Psychology Program in the Psychology Department, has been named the recipient of the 2017 Outstanding Graduate Faculty Member award from the Minnesota Psychological Association. The award will be presented at the Spring MPA conference in Plymouth, Minn.
School Psychology faculty Olivia Melroe, Margaret Potter, and Lisa Stewart, along with 12 School Psychology graduate students, attended the National Association of School Psychology (NASP) conference February 20-24 in San Antonio, Texas. MSUM’s School Psychology graduate program had a strong contingent at the Jan. 26-27 Minnesota Association for School Psychology MidWinter Conference in Plymouth, Minn. School Psychology faculty and 25 graduate students attended the conference.
