Noontime Gamelan naming ceremony

African Drum and Dance Workshops this week

The MSUM Percussion Studio is proud to host guest Guinean Master Drummer Fode Bangoura and Minneapolis-based African dance instructor Whitney McClusky for a workshop series this coming week. Workshops are open to all ages and the general public, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays nights from 7-10 p.m. in the Center for the Arts Hansen Theatre. African Drum & Dance Workshops Feb. 27-28

An African Drum and Dance Workshop, with guest artists Fode Bangoura, master Guinean drummer/dancer and Whitney McClusky, Duniya Drum and Dance Studio, and featuring the Minnesota State University Moorhead Percussion Studio, will be held Saturday, Feb. 27 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 28 from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Roland Dille Center for the Arts.
