Konrad Czynski published 10th CD

Konrad Czynski, Philosophy, with Maestro Stephen Simon and Bonnie Simon published their 10th CD in the Maestro Classics “Stories in Music” series. This is Saint-Saëns’ “Carnival of the Animals” with humorous (even nonsensical) verses written by Ogden Nash in 1950 for the conductor André Kostelanetz. Czynski narrates the whimsical poems evoking comical aspects of a variety of creatures, including Pianists!

Konrad Czynski led discussion at Philosophy for All

Konrad Czynski, on Nov. 15 at the Plains Art Museum, under the auspices of “Philosophy For All” organized by Professor Emeritus Mark Chekola, led a discussion with several MSUM colleagues and students, as well as with Fargo-Moorhead community-members, titled “A Dialogue across the Centuries with Marcus Aurelius.” The focus of the philosophical gathering was his Stoicism-imbued reflections traditionally called “Meditations.”

Konrad Czynski presents paper at culture conference

Konrad Czynski, Humanities-Philosophy, presented a paper on October 15 at the annual vonference of the Midwest American Culture & Popular Culture Association held in Milwaukee, Wis.
