Director of Women’s and Gender Studies, Kandace Creel Falcón presented a conference paper on her work funded by a 19A faculty grant at the Pacific Coast Branch of the American History Association meeting in Sacramento, California on August 7, 2015.
Kandace Creel Falcón, Director of Women’s Studies was accepted into the class of 20 participants of the Women’s Media Center Progressive Women’s Voices Class of 2015.
Kandace Creel Falcón, Director of Women’s and Gender Studies presented her research at the National Women’s Studies Association meeting in San Juan, Puerto Rico November 13-16. She presented a paper titled, “Railway Visions and Chicana Lives: Realizing the Chicana Feminist Interdisciplinary Archive.” Her work was one of over 500 presentations at the largest attended NWSA conference with over 1500 attendees.
