“A New York Experience,” an exhibit featuring work created by MSUM students while on a travel study course to New York City last summer, will be on display at the Red Wing Arts Association’s Depot Gallery in Red Wing, Minn. The exhibit runs April 9 to May 15. Professor John Volk organized and led the trip. John Volk, Art & Design, and student Jennifer Scheuer, from the Printmaking program in the Department of Art & Design, will be holding demonstrations for approximately 1,800 area elementary school students during the next three weeks. The demonstrations will be held in the Hannaher Print Studio at the Plains Art Museum, where Volk is the featured artist and Scheuer is the student intern.
