Kate Shorma, 2010, received the 2010 Outstanding Student Teacher award from the Minnesota Council on the Teaching of Languages and Cultures (MCTLC) at an annual conference in October in Minneapolis. Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM) is hosting the Education in a Recession Conference on Friday and Saturday, February 5-6 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at MSUM’s Center for Business. This is a conference on meeting the needs of diverse learners. All events are open to student educators and professional educators at the elementary, high school, and higher education levels. MSUM psychology Professor Lisa H. Stewart will present the keynote address discussing history, components and implementation of Response to Intervention (RTI).
