Tack led professional development session on co-teaching models

Dr. David Tack, School of Teaching and Learning, led an hour-long professional development session with the teachers in the Early Education Center. Together they focused on implementing strategies to enhance the co-teaching models that are utilized within the center, as well as discussed instructional strategies that would best facilitate effective learning in these models.

Tack publishes chapter

Dr. David Tack, School of Teaching & Learning, published a chapter “Using Visualization and Deep Breathing” in the upcoming book Educational Psychology Reader: The Art and Science of How People Learn (Peter Lang). This chapter draws upon Tack’s research on strategies for alleviating school-related distress in high school students.

Tack recognized for announcing more than 1,000 events

Dr. David Tack was recognized by the National Association of Sports Public Address Announcers (NASPAA) for announcing over 1,000 events in his career.
