Dr. David Tack, Teaching & Learning, invited to lead professional development with DGF elementary teachers in Glyndon

Dr. David Tack, Teaching & Learning, was invited to lead professional development with the DGF elementary teachers in Glyndon. His presentation led the teachers through a simulation in order to better understand the unique circumstances students from various socio-economic backgrounds bring to their school, and ways their classrooms can better meet these needs.

Dr. David Tack presented research on school-community relationships at 14th annual Community Collaborative Brain Conference

Dr. David Tack, Teaching and Learning, presented his research on school-community relationships on the Red Lake reservation at the 14th annual Community Collaborative Brain Conference in Mahnomen, MN. “The Importance of Schools in Building Stronger Community Relationships” was presented to a group of international teachers, social workers, early child care providers, and a member of the Minnesota Department of Education.

Tack publishes article for second time in “The Voice”

Dr. David Tack, School of Teaching & Learning, published an article in “The Voice,” a publication of The National Association of Sports Public Address Announcers. The April edition features his article “Two ‘Wrongs’ Are More Than Alright: Using and Stealing Cheat Sheets.” This is Tack’s second contribution in four months to this publication.
