‘The Prairie Post Office’ authors to hold discussion and book signing Sept. 17

Steven Bolduc, a Minnesota State University Moorhead economics professor and Amy Phillips, Minot State University at NDSU professor of social work, will present a free public talk and book signing on “The Prairie Post Office: Enlarging the Common Life in Rural North Dakota” Sunday, Sept. 17 at 2 p.m. in the North Dakota Heritage Center and State Museum, 612 E. Steven Bolduc’s article accepted for publication

Steven Bolduc, economics, has an article accepted for publication in the “Journal of Higher Education Outreach and Engagement.” The article, “Curricular Placement of Academic Service-Learning in Higher Education,” written with Dr. Amy Phillips of University of North Dakota, explores curricular placement themes in the service-learning literature and reviews findings from two surveys conducted by the authors about intentional departmental decision making concerning appropriate curricular placement of AS-L in light of student learning and developmental outcomes.
