Active Shooter Training on June 20

If you were unable to attend the presentations that were offered in February, you are encouraged to attend an active shooter presentation specifically addressing colleges and other education/government environments.  The presentation will include information on what to do in an active shooter situation to increase the probability of survival and potential pre-event indicators of a person preparing to embark on a mass violence event. The topic will also instruct attendees in using “Active Listening Skills” to assist people with preventing an active shooter situation and not just surviving one.  Read the rest of this entry →

FBI active shooter training tomorrow

All MSUM faculty, staff and students are encouraged to attend an active shooter presentation specifically addressing colleges and other education environments. The presentations will include information on what to do in an active shooter situation to increase the probability of survival and potential pre-event indicators of a person preparing to embark on a mass violence event. The topic will also instruct attendees in using “Active Listening Skills” to assist people with preventing an active shooter situation and not just surviving one.

The same presentation will be offered at the following times:

  • Date: Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017
  • Times: 6:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 3 p.m., and 7 p.m.
  • Location: MSUM Campus, CMU Room 205

Police Training Alert

The Moorhead Police Department will conduct active shooter training at Dahl Hall through July 1. The police department, in participation with Campus Security, will be using the facility during the following times:

Sun 6/28/09:  6-10 p.m.

Mon 6/29/09:  8 a.m.-12 p.m. & 1-5 p.m.

Tues 6/30/09:  8 a.m.-12 p.m. & 1-5 p.m.

Wed 7/1/09:   8 a.m.-12 p.m.
