Today, Dec. 17, is the last day of the TCU Film Library. On behalf of the Tri-College, the MSUM Library, and I am sure, the faculty of MSUM, we want to thank Jane Krajeck for making the TCU Film Library such a valued service…. for over 30 years! Jane will be working with MSUM’s Library in January and February and with NDSU in the latter part of Spring semester. Tri-College University is a bridge of cooperation that runs between Concordia College, Minnesota State University Moorhead, and North Dakota State University. In an effort to promote new collaborative initiatives, TCU announces the availability of one-time start-up grant funds for faculty, staff and students. TCU has found that through sharing resources, a greater number of people can be positively impacted and efficiencies readily obtained. This TCU program is intended to develop collaborative relationships between people in our campus community who share a common interest and vision. Click headline for details.
As was announced earlier this semester, a budgetary decision was made by the Tri College Commissioners that the Tri College Film Library will cease operation as of the end of Fall semester, 2009. MSUM, Concordia, and NDSU faculty are invited to the Tri-College Service-Learning Workshop, which will be held at MSUM on Thursday October 8. The event will be held from 1:30 – 4:45 PM in the CMU Ballroom. Participants will hear about student experiences with Service-Learning, and discuss formulating learning outcomes and assessment tools for S-L.
