MSUM students won awards at AAF-ND event in February

Stand Up 4 Transportation Day is celebrated nation-wide, and is meant to promote awareness and knowledge about the importance of transportation as a vital link in our communities. Whether it’s roads, bridges, infrastructure projects, public transportation or bike share programs, the transportation sector is helping to power the American economy and getting the job done for our citizens.
The MSUM Percussion Ensemble, directed by Dr. Kenyon Williams, will present a spectacular, entertaining evening full of music, dance, lighting effects, humor, and plenty of creative music making as inspired by such Broadway shows as “Stomp!” and “The Blue Man Group.”
Celebrations of Nations is an annual event at MSUM in which international students set up booths to display art, clothing and information about their countries. The students also cook traditional foods to sample, provide entertainment of traditional music and dances, and the celebration ends with an outstanding fashion show.
