On Thursday, April 15th at 5:00 PM the women of Gamma Phi Beta are hosting a spaghetti feed to raise money for our national charity, Camp Fire USA at the Gamma Phi Beta house. We would like to invite all MSUM students, faculty, and staff, as well as any persons in the community to join us.
Everyone is invited to a night of fun and cultural entertainment featuring dance performances, full color dresses, music and appetizing free gourmet African food. PAN AFRICAN NIGHT—Friday, Feb. 19 from 6:30-9 p.m. in the CMU—takes you on a cultural journey to the mysterious African continent with a cultural twist featuring performers. Free admission.
V-Day Minnesota State University Moorhead 2010 will present a benefit production of Eve Ensler’s The Vagina Monologues Sunday, Feb. 14 at 9 p.m. in the Center for the Arts Hansen Theatre. For tickets, $3 single or $5 couple, contact the MSUM Box Office, 477-2271. More than 40 women from MSUM will participate in the production. Sponsored by MSUM Theatre Arts Department/Blackfriars, the benefit hopes to raise awareness to stop violence against women and girls and raise funds for our beneficiary—the Rape and Abuse Crisis Center of Fargo/Moorhead. Rybak is running for the Democratic endorsement to run against the Republican candidate for governor of Minnesota in November of 2010. R.T. Rybak will be having a meet and greet Tuesday, Dec. 8 at 5 p.m. in the CMU room 203. The event is free and open to the public so stop by and ask R.T. any questions you have.
