Nancy Paul, Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences, will have a previously published article “Strategies Used by Communication Partners of Aphasic Speakers” featured in an online article collection focusing on Aphasia and Language Disorders through the Routledge, Taylor and Francis publishing group. Two graduate students from Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences department presented research at a regional conference of the MN State Speech-Language Pathology Association in Rochester, MN in April. Nicole Hallin (Richard Adler, research advisor) presented on teachers’ perception and importance of vocal health. Aubrey Vesledahl (Richard Adler, research advisor) presented on teachers’ ability to recognize fluency disorders among students.

National Stuttering Association meets third Thursday of the month

The Fargo/Moorhead chapter of the National Stuttering Association (a non-profit organization dedicated to the support of people who stutter) holds monthly meetings on the third Thursday of the month (March 20, April 17, and May 15) at 6:30 p.m. in Conference Room 210 of Murray Hall at MSUM.
