Mary Stone and Sheri Erickson, accounting professors in the Paseka School of Business, led the panel discussion “Advanced Placement Accounting Course: Net Gain or Net Loss?” at the MBAA Annual Conference on April 13, 2016 in Chicago.
MSUM students gave back to their communities in a big way this semester by becoming volunteers with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program, where they helped low-to-moderate income families who needed assistance preparing their 2015 tax returns.
Peter Geib, Paseka School of Business, co-authored and presented a paper at the Midwest Business Administration Assoc. conference in Chicago. The paper title is “The Dynamics of Chinese Expansion in the South China Sea.”
On Friday, several downtown Fargo businesses had Dragons touring their workspaces. The MSUM School of Business, School of Communication and Journalism, and Career Development Center held a Dragon Business Crawl for students.
