Paterson Undergraduate Award in Psychology at the annual convention of the Minnesota Psychological Association. On May 4th, the Psychology Department inducted 12 students into Psi Chi, the National Honor Society in Psychology. The inductees are: Oyinkansola Adeyemi, Sarah Besette, Tyler Carlson, Alexandra Gomez, Rebecca Greenmyer, Dana Jacobs, Caroline Kinskey, Bianca Milz, Cameron Monson, Andrew Swedzinski, Eloise Warren, and Geoffrey Zehnacker.
Taylor Rodriguez, Economics major, and Madhuri Tiwari, Psychology major, presented on the student panel at the Region 6 NACADA: the Global Community for Academic Advising conference held in Fargo on May 9.
The Psychology Department hosted the annual Red River Undergraduate Psychology Conference last Friday. Twenty seven poster presentations, and four papers were presented by students from MSUM, NDSU, Concordia, UND, and the University of Jamestown. Ten of these presentations involved 14 students from our Department.
