On Thursday, May 7, the faculty in the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice inducted 25 students into one of three national honor societies, and 3 students were each inducted into two national honor societies. The faculty also announced the winners of the department’s annual awards.
It is with great excitement the Philosophy Department would like to congratulate Dylan O’Brien on his acceptance into Louisiana State University’s Master of Arts program in Philosophy for Fall 2015. Dylan double majored in Philosophy and Psychology and graduated Magna Cum Laude from MSUM in Spring 2013.

Women’s Rugby traveled to the United States Military Base in West Point, New York this past weekend, May 2 and 3. They played in the National Rugby Sevens championships.
