The National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA) has honored the MSUM Dragon Athletics GO! TEAM with three “Best of Awards” for 2015-16. MSUM began submitting entries for the awards in 2014 and won three awards in the last two years. This year doubles that total. Below is a full list of NACMA ‘Best of Awards’ for MSUM.
High school students are able to explore careers in the health sciences this week as part of SCRUBS Camp, a residential camp held at MSU Moorhead. MSUM is introducing students to areas such as microbiology, nursing, speech language hearing sciences, counseling, athletic training, radiology and more.
Fargo native Jennifer Jones shares her love of the Fargo-Moorhead community in a recent letter to the editor of the INFORUM. Though she now lives in Anderson, S.C., Jones says she will never think of anywhere but Fargo-Moorhead as her home—a true testament to the kind, caring community we are lucky to be a part of.
MSUM alumni A.J. Schlee, Andy Werk and Taylor Huss were sworn in as the Moorhead Police Department’s newest officers on Friday. The trio graduated in 2015 with degrees in criminal justice. MSUM English professor and published poet Thom Tammaro recently came out with a new poetry collection, published by Red Dragonfly Press. “23 Poems,” currently available at Zandbroz Variety and on Amazon, is a compilation 40-some years in the making.
