Campus, community generosity collects 1 ton for food bank Thank you for everyone who donated to #DragonsGive during Homecoming 2016. Because of the generosity of students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the community, MSUM collected 2,114 pounds of food and personal care items for Great Plains Food Bank and RACC of Fargo-Moorhead.
Chinese artist Hao Lin was so impressed with the work of MSUM artist-teacher Zhimin Guan, he uprooted himself and his family to live in Moorhead and study with Guan for an entire year. For several years, MSUM graduates have appeared in various capacities in The Minnesota Fringe Festival, the largest non-juried festival in the United States, and the third-largest in North America. The festival provides opportunities for aspiring actors, directors and producers to gain exposure and experience.
Paseka School of Business faculty were recently involved in organizing, presenting and participating in the recent Midwest Academy of Management (MAM) conference held in Fargo. The conference had just over 200 participants, a record attendance for a MAM conference and a huge shout out to our community for attracting them all here.
