Mathematics students pass actuarial exams

MSUM’s Mathematics Department would like to congratulate our exceptional actuarial students who passed actuarial exams this past summer. Leslie Miller, Billy Pederson, Daniel Schneck, Zach Snell, and Madalyn Winger all passed Exam 2/Financial Mathematics. Mason LaRock passed both Exam 1/Probability and Exam 2.

School Psychology students attend state MTSS conference

Ten graduate students in School Psychology attended and volunteered at the North Dakota statewide MultiTiered Systems of Support (MTSS) conference. The 2017 MTSS conference theme was “Building Effective Systems for Student Success.” Over 300 educators from across the region attended the 3 day conference. Dr. Lisa Stewart, School Psychology faculty, also was on the conference planning committee.

Enebechi participates in a SURF research experience

Chidubem “Nuela” Enebechi participated in a SURF summer research program at Purdue University. Nuela is currently at senior majoring in computer science. Dr. Mike Coquyt, Educational Leadership Graduate Program, STL, co-authored a book Growing Leaders Within: A Process toward Teacher Leadership, along with Dr. Brian Creasman.
