Dr. Marsha Weber, Interim Vice President for Academic Affairs, has announced that Dr. Jeremy Carney, School of Social Work, has been selected as the recipient of the 2018-2019 Dille Outstanding Faculty Lecturer Award. Dr. Peter Geib and Dr. James Swenson, Paseka School of Business, have had their paper “The Shanghai Edge” accepted for presentation at the Academy of Business Research Fall Conference in Boston, MA in August 2018.
Merrie Sue Holtan, Assistant Professor of Communication Studies, earned three writing awards from North Dakota Professional Communicators at the NDSU spring conference. She placed first in Sports Writing and Home Writing and also third in the Home Writing category. The first place entries will be competing in the National Federation of Presswomen competition in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania this September.
