Dirk Jasperse, a Economics and Political Science double major, had his paper “Evaluating the Impact of Library Children’s program Attendance on Circulation of Library Children’s Materials” accepted for publication in Issues in Political Economy, a peer-reviewed journal for undergraduate research in Economics.
The Honors Program is pleased to announce that four students have been selected to receive new Honors Program Scholarships for 2016-17.
Junior music major Coen Hakeboom has been awarded the Dorothy Sewall Hector Scholarship. This piano competition is held every spring and is open to all undergraduate piano students in the Fargo-Moorhead area. Coen is a student of Dr. Terrie Manno.
MSUM students gave back to their communities in a big way this semester by becoming volunteers with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program, where they helped low-to-moderate income families who needed assistance preparing their 2015 tax returns.
