Student submits data to NASA project

Physics and Astronomy student Emily Watson submitted measurements of an exoplanet, a planet around a star far from Earth, to NASA’s TESS mission as part of its ground-based follow-up observers program.  Emily took the data using MSUM’s Paul P. Acceptance into MN Disability Advocacy Training

Selected from a pool of statewide applicants, criminal justice/political science/pre-law student Amanda Schermerhorn has been accepted into the eight-month Minnesota Partners in Policymaking® leadership training. Participants include adults with disabilities and parents raising children with developmental disabilities.  Schermerhorn is the mother to four children. Her youngest child, Richard, has autism.
