Dr. Mary Dosch, Psychology, and Dr. David Paul, Counseling and Student Affairs, recently returned from co-teaching a 12 day study abroad course to the Dominican Republic. This intercultural, interdisciplinary tour included graduate and undergraduate students from Counseling and Student Affairs, Anthropology, Social Work, Speech Language Hearing and Education.

Candace Gould, Paralegal, submitted a winning essay for the Lambda Epsilon Chi (LEX) Scholarship. The LEX Scholarship is awarded by the American Association for Paralegal Educators (AAfPE), the national organization for paralegal programs. Congratulations to Aidan Shafer, double major in Mathematics and Physics, who ranked in the top third of the Putnam Mathematical Competition, held on December 3, 2016. The William Lowell Putnam Mathematical Competition is the preeminent mathematics competition for undergraduate college students in all the United States and Canada. On the last edition there were 4,164 contestants from 568 institutions.
