Economics student accepted to Applied Economics program at Illinois State University Urbana-Champaign, receives scholarship

Cody Brandt, Economics major, was accepted to the Master’s in Applied Economics program at Illinois State University Urbana-Champaign. Cody was offered a full scholarship and an assistantship worth well over $45,000. This is the fourth consecutive year Economics majors from MSU Moorhead have been accepted to this very prestigious master’s program.

Chemistry & Biochemistry students present at national ACS meeting

Eight student members of the Chemistry & Biochemistry Club presented their research and community involvement work at the 247th National Meeting and Exposition of the American Chemical Society in Dallas, Texas. In addition to presenting posters, the students participated in a number of career preparation and networking workshops presented by the ACS, and got to meet ACS mascot “Professor Molenium.”
