Sinner to teach paper pulp dipping workshop

Wednesday, April 25 | 6-8 p.m. | Make Room Professor Kelli Sinner is teaching a paper pulp dipping workshop on Wednesday April 25, from 6-8 p.m. at Make Room in Fargo. To register visit makeroomfargo.com. This is the last week to see Professor Sinner’s solo exhibition “Critical Mass” at Make Room. The exhibition closes April 28.

Arnar keynote speaker at Tri-College Libraries Staff Workshop

Anna Sigrídur Arnar, School of Art, was the keynote speaker at the Tri-College Libraries Staff Workshop hosted by Concordia College on April 19, 2018. The title of Arnar’s lecture was “The Library as a Social Space in Contemporary Global Art” and was based on research carried out during her sabbatical year (2016-17).

Guan leads high school painting workshops

Zhimin Guan, Art, led painting workshops at four high schools in Minneapolis in March. Guan shared a painting slide show and taught Chinese brush painting techniques at Minneapolis South High, Patrick and Henry High and Thomas Edison High School.

Dr. Bradbury serves as session chair at American Educational Research Association meeting

Dr. Boyd Bradbury, School of Teaching and Learning, served as the chair of the Paper Session, Liberating Perspectives in Academia, at the 2018 American Educational Research Association (AERA) Annual Meeting in New York. The Annual Meeting was held April 13-17.
