Dr. Lisa Stewart, Director of the School Psychology Program in the Psychology Department, has been named the recipient of the 2017 Outstanding Graduate Faculty Member award from the Minnesota Psychological Association. The award will be presented at the Spring MPA conference in Plymouth, Minn.

Oscar Flores, Economics, presented the paper “The Impact of Participation in Learning Communities on Academic Performance an Retention” at the 43rd meetings of the Eastern Economic Association in New York City. Flores found preliminary evidence that participation in LCs at MSU Moorhead does increase the probability that students would return for the second year.
