Poet and children’s book author Janice N. Harrington spoke on campus Thursday, March 5 as part of the Tom McGrath Visiting Writers Series. If you missed the event, you still have an opportunity to hear from the author of one of TIME Magazine’s Top Ten Children’s Picture Books of 2008.

The Moorhead Dairy Queen will give free sundaes Wednesday, April 15, from 7:00-10:30. The owners of the store, located at the intersection of 8th Street and Main Avenue, say the free sundaes are a “thank you” for volunteers who helped during the flood emergency. There will likely be a long line.
