MSUM faculty art on display through Nov. 11

Visiting artist Jonathan Twingley presents “Words and Pictures” Oct. 28

New York artist and author of “The Badlands Saloon” Jonathan Twingley will be a visiting artist-in-residence at Minnesota State University Moorhead Oct. 28 and 29. As part of his campus visit, he will deliver a free public lecture on “Words and Pictures” at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28 in the Center for Business room 109. Music Theatre Fargo-Moorhead presents A YEAR WITH FROG AND TOAD

Music Theatre Fargo-Moorhead (MTFM)* is proud to announce the regional premiere of A YEAR WITH FROG AND TOAD by Willie and Robert Reale. Based on the beloved children’s books by Arnold Lobel, these familiar characters hop from page to stage in this jazzy and perky Tony-nominated musical. Glasrud Lecture and Reading features Nick Flynn

Nick Flynn, author of Another Bullshit Night in Suck City, will be presenting at 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29 in ballroom section 200C in the Comstock Memorial Union. Flynn’s memoir won the PEN/Martha Albrand Award, was short-listed for France’s Prix Femina, and has been translated into 13 languages. Click the headline to read more.
