Fuego Tropical to perform at animal benefit

Fuego Tropical, MSUM’s steel drum and salsa ensemble, will perform this Saturday night, October 24 at the “4 Luv of Dogs” Benefit.” This silent auction and gala fundraiser will help to raise support for “4 Luv of Dogs” animal shelter and rescue. The band will perform from 7-9:30 pm at the NDSU Alumni Center on University Avenue.

Author Patricia Hampl on campus Oct. 21 & 22

Best-selling author Patricia Hampl will talk on the writer’s craft at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21 and read from her work at 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22 both in MSU Moorhead’s King Hall Auditorium 110 as a feature of MSUM’s Tom McGrath Visiting Writers Series. Dragons After Dark collecting gently used clothes

Dragons After Dark is sponsoring a clothing drive the week of Monday, October 26-Friday, October 30. Clean out your closets and bring your gently used clothes to the CMU Main Lounge or contact us at dragonsafterdark@mnstate.edu and we will arrange for a pick-up. World of Change on campus Oct. 26

The 10th annual World of Change conference for regional teachers of the social and natural sciences and mathematics will be held on campus Monday, Oct. 26. It is sponsored by the College of Social and Natural Sciences. Regional teachers from North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota will attend workshops hosted by faculty and staff members from Biosciences, Chemistry, Mathematics, Psychology, and Physics and Astronomy.
