Fuego Tropical, MSUM’s steel drum and salsa ensemble, will perform this Saturday night, October 24 at the “4 Luv of Dogs” Benefit.” This silent auction and gala fundraiser will help to raise support for “4 Luv of Dogs” animal shelter and rescue. The band will perform from 7-9:30 pm at the NDSU Alumni Center on University Avenue.
Best-selling author Patricia Hampl will talk on the writer’s craft at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21 and read from her work at 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22 both in MSU Moorhead’s King Hall Auditorium 110 as a feature of MSUM’s Tom McGrath Visiting Writers Series. The 10th annual World of Change conference for regional teachers of the social and natural sciences and mathematics will be held on campus Monday, Oct. 26.
